Gorgeous pair Virginia Metalcrafters brass Spread Eagle bookends. The eagle is shown with its wings fully spread and a laurel branch and bundle of 13 arrows clutched in its talon. The eagle clutches a Union shield across its breast. Makers mark is stamped on the back. Each measures 4" tall x 7 1/2" wide.
