EG Webster Silver Plate and Enamel Inkwell
This is a rare find of an antique silver plate and enamel inkwell. Made by EG Webster this this in well is in two pieces. Both pieces are decorated with a beautifully intricate enamel work. the trade measures 4 and 1/2 in in diameter and has scrolled work metal as a holder for the ink bottle. The ink bottle crystal is capped by a silver plate top with another example beautiful bead and enamel work. Circa 1867 to 1886 from New York this inkwell is in wonderful condition with no visable chips in the crystal. An excellent find for anyone's in inkwell collection.
