Fabulous antique frog mug. This circa 1830 practical joke mug holds a small ceramic frog in the bottom. Generally used to drink beer, the unsuspecting patron would be surprised by the frog as he finished his beer. This antique beauty features embossed tavern figures on both sides and an applied handle. Maker is unknown. Measures 4 1/2" tall x 6" wide w/ handle.
